As VP of Sales, Robert “Bob” Panos leads a team of 5 sales representatives and is responsible for growing net new business for American Digital. Also in this role, Bob manages the development of key partnerships with software providers and application integrators. Prior to American Digital’s acquisition of VCOMP Solutions in 2011, Bob was Partner and Managing Director of VCOMP – one the fastest growing and most respected infrastructure providers within the HP community. Under Bob’s strong leadership, VCOMP established a focused higher education practice and assembled a veteran technical team with professional service capabilities. From 2003 to 2008, Bob was Director of Sales and then promoted to Vice President of Technical Services for Meridian Group International. He built and managed an HP systems business that became a key driver in Meridian’s success. Prior to that, Bob worked at Sysix Technologies for 9 years. Starting as a technical consultant, he progressed rapidly through a series of sales and product management roles and was promoted to General Manager and VP of Product Solutions. Bob is a 1998 graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology.
